About Arkin Labs

We build the Brain of the drone

Arkin Labs is a Chennai-based Unmanned Aerial Systems company building Autopilots, Ground control software, and Avionic peripherals for unmanned aviation.

Our work begins from a single principle, autonomy shouldn't depend on someone else's black box.

Origin

It started with a Drone you could fly from Anywhere.

The first version was a small quadcopter, controlled in real-time from across the world over a 4G mobile app. It worked. But getting there meant building everything from scratch : Control, Telemetry, the secure link between the operator and the aircraft.

That was the moment the founding insight took shape: motors and frames are commodities. The autopilot is the actual technology. If you don't own the brain of the drone, you don't own the drone.

"We don't just build drone systems ; We build independence." — Arkin Labs

Arkin Labs was founded to build that brain, flight controllers, ground stations, and avionic peripherals engineered end-to-end in India. Not assembled. Not licensed. Designed.

Today, the AeroMind™ series powers UAV platforms across fixed-wing, VTOL, multirotor, helicopter, and agri-spray applications, from UAV OEMs to defence and research programs.

What We Believe

Three principles. Every product.

Every decision we make, from chip selection to firmware architecture, runs through these three filters.

Own the brain.

If the autopilot is the actual technology, we should design every layer of it — hardware, firmware, interfaces. No black boxes, no licensed cores, no surprises.

Embrace the standards.

Sovereignty doesn't mean isolation. AeroMind supports PX4, MAVLink, and common payload integrations — so OEMs get our hardware without giving up their ecosystem.

Build for the field.

Every board we ship is tested under conditions it'll face in deployment. Lab demos are not products. Production hardware is.
